In 2017, A-1 Driving and PATTS College of Aeronautics broke new ground as they introduced the first ever driver education program for aviation students.
Recognizing A-1’s best practices and methodologies in road safety, PATTS required its BS Aircraft Maintenance Technology and Aircraft Technician Course students to take and pass the 20-hour lecture and driving lessons facilitated in A-1 Driving Training Center in Las Piñas. Students were then certified and provided driver’s license application assistance with the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
With the added knowledge, skills, and deeper appreciation of road safety, the aviation school’s graduates gain an advantage when applying for jobs.
